EDDIFIS was commissioned as a general contractor to completely renovate a multi-level villa
dating from the 1930s on a 2,000 m2 (21,500 sq. ft.) landscaped plot.
The owners bought this villa with the objective of restoring some of its architectural features to the original 1930s Art Deco style!
In partnership with the architect, we undertook historical research to renovate and arrange the villa’s living areas according to the characteristics of that period. The geometric lines of the beams, partitions and posts are inspired by the design of the Turbulent Thirties.
Particular attention was paid to selecting the materials and deciding how and where they would be used. The colour choices – blue, red and yellow – and the combination of materials – chromed metal, light wood and sandstone – make this property a place of refinement and style.
